Most of the time, photos elaborate more than a thousand words, so this time I'll let the photos do the talking. I can only state one thing that related to fashion, I'm in love with this printed Sleeveless and the orchid colored denim I wore XD.

The Happiness Project, how to become a person with positive mindset

Richard Theo

Approaching the end of 2012, I start to question “what have I done this year?” and start to crosscheck last year’s resolutions. In one side, checking the list of resolutions can track my personal progress, in the other side, this activity kinda makes me blue, because of the low accomplishment rate. Well, after the “look at all the f I give” meditation, I decided to pretend that the 2012 resolutions list never happened and start a new page with 2013 list.

Beauty, measured by math? or is it really in the eye of the beholder?

Mirror Mirror on the Wall, how golden is thy face…

There is an Old Saying, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, but science said otherwise, beauty defined by golden ratio and symmetry. More symmetrical one’s face, more attractive that person to opposite sex or even for the same sex.
Actually I saw one article where they calculate the ratio which is based on Fibonacci number, and the show people with supposedly perfect face, yes… they look gorgeous, but after two hours, I start to forget how they look like, and what so special about those faces… at home I tried to mirrored one side of my face to see how I look in perfect symmetry, the result… well, let’s say I’m not too happy about that photo..
Enough about me… lol… after managed to scan through celebrity faces on internet I found some of the legendary beauties that somehow doesn’t fit into that mold…
First My Favorite Brazilian Beauty , Miss Adriana Lima... She has asymmetrical eyes, but her eyes is her greatest assets.... one stare and the next thing you know, you are on your knees....

Mariah Carey in 15 shades of gold

Mariah is back!!!
Her new single “Triumphant” released the diva’s inner golden girl. Not really loving the original version, but when I heard the vintage throwback edit, I was flabbergasted… it felt like she trying to open the gates of heaven with her crystal clear belting, birdlike falsetto, and piercing whistle, it was a high notes heaven… a pure joy..
Although in the original version, she’s more like the chorus girl, but all eyes are plastered on her curvy figure, thanks to the shades of gold she’s wearing, not to mention her ageless beauty.
Well, when the fake boxing start to get boring, Mariah appear with the glitter explosion, stole all the attention… maybe it’s her natural talent or years of experience, but she know how to milk every seconds in spotlight..
This is the collection of her shades of gold dress… my personal favorite is this dress… looks like liquid gold on her toned body….

Arantxa Adi - RE-INVITE

RE-INVITE BY ARANTXA ADI

Designer Arantxa Adi
Choreographer: Panca Makmun
Media Coordinator: Tim Muara Bagdja
Photographer: Arselan Ganin

This collection Ooze silver screen sophistication, and the most of all elegance, proven by the mix of the light fabrics material such as silk, chiffon, and brocade with stiff fabric like duchess taffeta, added with the silhouette from old Hollywood glamour to revamp the beauty, the sexiness, and the class of the women who wear his collection.

What I love the most beside the clothes is the styling, the pin curls and bold red lips are mean for the confident and strong women who know what she want in life.

Like an old saying say "When in Doubt, go Bolder!!"

Coco Rocha’s Golden Touch for Vogue Mexico December 2012

Coco Rocha - Vogue Mexico December 2012 in Elie Saab

This is why she is so famous, she can walk on the set, strike some killer poses, walk out from the set and almost all of her photos are magazine cover material. Vogue Mexico love her photos so much, their even release three versions of the covers all by Coco, because she doesn’t just cover the December issue, she owns it!!

Coco Rocha channels her inner golden goddess in Prabal Gurung and Elie Saab, purple lips, and her retro wave. Her photos are so good it must be a crime just run only one cover.

These covers are definitely rays of light amongst heavy, minimalistic, and dark palette fashion images that filled the fashion atmosphere on this glum winter… I want more brightness please!!
